Born in the beautiful city of Luanda, Angola, Carlos Silva started his first band “Tripe” at age 16, beginning his career as a performing artist. This lead him to Lisbon in the 70’s where he performed in various night clubs including the well known and popular “The Cave”. In 1979 Carlos moved to the US where he resides as a citizen and is establishing himself as one of the famous Portuguese artists in California, having released his latest album, Morenita. Music is his first passion followed by free-diving-spear-fishing, where he has gained the respect amongst his peers and earning several awards in this sport including first place in the 2006 Randy Fry Memorial Tournament in Ocean Cove California.
