Christine Araujo has become well recognized among Portuguese communities around the world. At the young age of 4 Christine Araujo was no stranger to the stage. Her passion for music really showed with her ability to amaze crowds. Christine was born in Toronto, Ontario. She studied musical theatre at the Randolph Academy of Performing Arts where she became a triple threat in singing, dancing and acting.
Christine Araujo loves her Portuguese Heritage and proved that with her first debut album containing two #1 Hits in Portugal. Both her parents were born in Portugal and Christine is fortunate to have a family who support her in all musical realms. Her biggest inspiration is her very talented cousin host of one of Portugal’s #1 tv shows- Sonia Araujo from “Praca D’Alegria”.
Christine Araujo has a passion for languages and sings in English, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian and French. Christine’s love for the Portuguese Community never goes unnoticed. She was president of the Portuguese Association for her University and used her musical talent to raise money for various charities.
In 2009, Christine Araujo released her first self titled debut album. Her album was quick to become a success. Christine has performed on various stages around the World including, all over Portugal, Toronto, Winnipeg, Kingston and many more.
Christine Araujo has had the opportunity to perform with many star Performers including; Fernando Mendes, Eduardo Santana, Starlight, Joao Pimentel, Ana Malhoa.
Christine is currently working on her first English Album, which she is set to release in 2010. A talented singer, song- writer and performer Christine is destined for success.
